Our solicitors provide expertise across a wide range of legal services – all available to individual and business clients via any of our three branches.

Our services are divided according to our departments of work, as follows:

Property

We have dedicated commercial and conveyancing departments with experienced solicitors and support staff. We can assist with all business and individual property matters.

Our property services frequently involve intensive negotiations, mediation and sometimes court proceedings where matters cannot be resolved amicably.

Family

The breakdown of a relationship is a stressful time and can often raise many issues that need to be resolved, whether you are married or not. Seeking legal advice early on will help you evaluate your options.

Our family law team makes every effort to be as understanding and supportive as possible during what can be an emotional and worrying time. We give sensible and sensitive legal advice that is aimed at getting the best result possible for you.

Civil Litigation

We provide advice and representation to a broad range of clients in a wide range of civil disputes, whether they are Claimant or Defendant to proceedings or simply involved in a dispute that does not go to court.

The court system and court procedure as prescribed by the Civil Procedure Rules can be intimidating and complex to deal with. It is possible that certain errors when following court procedures can give rise to cost consequences, penalties, or even a technical defence to a claim that would otherwise have succeeded. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with the support and clear advice that they need in what are usually very difficult and often emotional circumstances.

Employment

Employment law is a complex and evolving area of law which seeks to protect the rights of both Employers and Employees. Employment law in the UK is constantly evolving by European Union law, Human Rights law, UK legislation and case law.

DC Kaye & Co Solicitors has been advising on all areas of Employment law for over 25 years and has had a dedicated Employment Department for over 15 years, committed to providing effective and reliable advice to provide solutions to the wide-ranging matters that arise in this complex area of law for all Employers whether small or large business, sole trader, partnership, limited company, limited partnership or public liability company.

Criminal Litigation

It is vital to take advice as early as possible if you think that you might be accused of committing a crime. We can advise you of your rights even before you are arrested or interviewed and can provide representation for you if you are. It is important to take advice at this early stage as this is often when you will feel at your most vulnerable and may be more prone to making mistakes or errors of judgment which could have serious consequences for the rest of your case.

We provide advice to our clients throughout the entire process that you may be involved with: volunteering at the police station, being arrested, interviewed under caution, charges, bail issues, hearings and trial.
