Totting Up 12 Points

If you accrue 12 penalty points or more in three years then you may be disqualified from driving.

We advise clients on whether they can ask the Court to use the discretionary powers that it may exercise in certain circumstances to not impose a ban. This may be, for example, where losing a licence may cause an exceptional hardship, such a loss of employment, and the offence committed involved driving only a few miles per hour over the speed limit.
